Our private communities offer a safe environment to ask questions, share knowledge, and learn from each other. You can engage in discussions without worrying about irrelevant content or public scrutiny. All our communities are monitored, and we will not hesitate to remove anyone demonstrating inappropriate behaviours such as bullying or harassment. While we value social media, a common complaint from social users is a reluctance to post for fear of criticism or trolling and that their posts get lost amidst these vast generic networks. On one particular social media network, users are reluctant to post because their profiles are for personal/family use rather than professional.

Who can join?
Surveyors
All surveying disciplines are welcome! Our mission is to provide a platform for all surveying types; nobody is excluded.
Students (and would-be students)
All students are welcome, no matter what stage of your career journey. If you are considering becoming a surveyor or want to learn more, you are welcome to join.
Outside the UK?
If you live outside the UK but fall into any of the above categories, you are most welcome to join us. However, please note that our platform is first and foremost for the UK surveying profession.
Industry professionals
Whilst Surveyors UK is for the surveying profession, we also want to facilitate cross-industry networking, collaboration, and progress. Anyone who works within or across the surveying industry is welcome. This includes, to name a few, conveyancers, engineers, estate agents, energy/sustainability professions, architects, trades, construction, government, etc.
