The property, on High Street, Stockton, dates back to January 1951, according to the Historic England website. The four-storey premises, which comprises basement, ground floor retail, first floor balcony and second floor with additional loft space, overlooks the fountain on Stockton High Street.

It has previously been utilised as retail space, including as the home of Marked for Life which now operates from Thornaby. “The premises could be suitable for a variety of uses (subject to planning permission),” Align Chartered Surveyors, Northallerton, who are managing the sale state.

Winpenny House is for sale or to let, with a freehold price tag of £100,000. “Available To Let £12,000 per annum on a fully repairing and insuring basis with terms to be agreed (plus VAT),” Align Chartered Surveyors add.
