As it’s almost Halloween, you might have spotted neatly carved pumpkins on doorsteps, and feel a certain chill in the air. Surrey is pretty atmospheric when temperatures drop and autumn is in full swing.
With ancient woodlands, haunted pubs, and plenty of pumpkin patches, Surrey is a great place to visit during the autumn months. The Devil’s Punch Bowl is an excellent example, with a name you won’t forget and tales of haunted hills and thieving highwaymen.
One unusual thing about Surrey you might have noticed is the eye-catching road names dotted around. Some of them are very befitting for the spooky season.
